Director of Advertising Jobs
A Director of Advertising plays a pivotal role in the advertising industry, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the overall company's advertising strategy. They oversee all aspects of advertising including planning, development, and execution, working closely with their team to ensure the company's message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field is often required, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) may be preferred. Professional certifications like the American Advertising Federation's Certified Advertising Executive (CAE) could be beneficial. Prior to becoming a Director of Advertising, a person may have roles such as an Advertising Manager, Marketing Manager, or Senior Account Executive in the advertising industry.
