Graphic Designer / Media Designer (Intermediate) Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) Duration: 6 Month Contract (Possible Extension) Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Media Designer to support the development of visual communications, presentations, illustrations, and creative content for a fast-paced corporate environment. This role will partner with business stakeholders to transform complex concepts and narratives into compelling visual stories that engage audiences and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong design expertise, storytelling ability, and exceptional communication skills with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-quality visual communications, presentations, graphics, and marketing materials Translate business requirements, concepts, and narratives into engaging visual content Create illustrations, layouts, infographics, and presentation materials that communicate complex ideas clearly Collaborate with business partners, writers, marketing professionals, and leadership teams Develop creative concepts and innovative visual solutions that align with organizational objectives Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines and quality standards Maintain and organize design assets, artwork files, and project documentation Ensure consistency with branding, style guidelines, and visual communication standards Present design concepts and incorporate stakeholder feedback into final deliverables Support project planning, scheduling, and delivery activities Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional Graphic Design, Visual Design, Media Design, Presentation Design, or Creative Services experience Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and presentation design capabilities Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience translating complex business concepts into compelling visual narratives Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual communication principles Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under firm deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting executive-level communications and presentations Corporate communications or business-facing design experience Experience creating infographics, executive presentations, and strategic communication materials Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise environments Knowledge of branding and visual identity standards Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate is a creative storyteller who can take abstract concepts, business requirements, and strategic initiatives and convert them into visually compelling presentations and communications.
