About Ocean Island Inn
Ocean Island Inn is a unique accommodation experience located in downtown Victoria, welcoming travelers from around the world. We're looking for a Videographer & Video Editor to film and produce short-form video ads for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This is not a social media management role. We're looking for someone who can capture compelling footage, edit engaging content, and deliver advertising creatives for paid campaigns.

Responsibilities
Film on-site content at Ocean Island Inn and throughout Victoria
Create short-form video ads for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Edit footage into engaging, performance-focused creatives
Produce multiple ad variations to test different hooks and messaging
Add captions, music, sound effects, and simple text overlays as needed
Collaborate with our marketing team on campaign objectives and creative direction

Requirements
Experience filming and editing short-form video content
Portfolio demonstrating advertising, promotional, or travel-related video work
Understanding of paid social advertising best practices
Ability to create strong hooks and maintain viewer attention
Proficiency with video editing software
Ability to manage projects from filming through final delivery
