Our client, a leading organization in the retail technology sector, is seeking a UIX UX Designer Level 2 to join their team. As a UIX UX Designer Level 2, you will be part of the Product Design department supporting the Next Generation Point of Sale (NGPOS) initiative. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong workshop facilitation skills, expertise in user research, and proficiency in UX design using Figma and AI tools, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Support Krogers NGPOS project by designing and enhancing the checkout experience across various store formats.
- Conduct user research with diverse end users including cashiers, shoppers, and store associates to identify needs and pain points.
- Lead and facilitate collaborative workshops with cross-functional teams to address experience and technical challenges.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to provide design guidance, participate in agile ceremonies, and ensure alignment with the overall user experience vision.
- Create and maintain UX artifacts such as personas, user journeys, and service blueprints to illustrate the complex point-of-sale ecosystem.
What's Needed?
- Proven experience in workshop facilitation, user research, and UX design.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and familiarity with AI tools for design workflows.
- Ability to work onsite near Blue Ash, with a willingness to visit Kroger stores for firsthand observation.
- Excellent collaboration skills and experience working with cross-disciplinary teams including engineering, product management, and retail operations.
- Comfortable supporting projects that involve data-driven decision making and emerging AI technologies.
