What You Will Be Doing
Staff RF Engineers are responsible for:
Supporting the development and production of complex multi-function modules in all phases of the product life cycle.
Working on complex technical problems and providing innovative solutions.
Designing and developing circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full rate production.
Acting independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the implementation of operational products.
Mentoring less experienced engineers on our team.
Collaborating with other engineering disciplines including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technical and manufacturing support personnel.
Working with technical and manufacturing support personnel to ensure successful product development and production

This position is in Andover, Massachusetts - Located approximately 30 miles northwest of Boston, Andover embodies New England charm. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues for RF applications.
Experience with the use of RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain at least an Interim Secret Clearance before starting the position, therefore you must be a US Citizen.Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field.
Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry, including architecture development for RF systems.
Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits. Prior RF design experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience with microwave simulation tools for RF system design.
Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
Expertise with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.
Experience testing microwave products at the RF circuit card assembly (CCA), module, or subassembly level.
Experience with customer interface including technical presentations.
Hands-on hardware experience.
Familiarity with production and manufacturing environments.
Experience with datalink or T/R module architecture.
Ability to lead failure investigations on production or technical issues.
Ability work in a team collaborative environment especially with manufacturing and industrial engineers and/or operator on production support.
