Product Designer II (Contract)
Atlanta, GA (Hybrid Preferred) 6-Month Contract
About the Opportunity
We're seeking a Product Designer II to support a fast-moving enterprise product design team focused on delivering intuitive, scalable digital experiences across complex platforms and workflows. This role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and other Designers to execute high-quality user experiences across both desktop and mobile environments.
This is an ideal opportunity for a well-rounded product designer who enjoys balancing UX thinking, UI execution, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration in a collaborative enterprise environment.
The team is looking for someone who can ramp quickly, contribute immediately, and flex across multiple product initiatives as business priorities evolve.
What You'll Do
Design thoughtful, user-centered experiences across web and mobile applications
Translate business requirements and user insights into scalable UX/UI solutions
Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and interaction patterns
Extend and apply existing design systems, reusable components, templates, and brand standards
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and other Designers throughout the product lifecycle
Participate in design critiques, stakeholder reviews, and Agile ceremonies
Support usability testing, research synthesis, and iterative product improvements
Partner with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and accurate design handoff
Contribute to accessibility-conscious product experiences and scalable UX practices
Leverage AI-assisted workflows and modern design tooling to accelerate discovery, experimentation, and iteration
What We're Looking For
3-7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or UI/UX Design
Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and/or mobile product design work
Experience designing enterprise platforms, operational workflows, dashboards, or complex systems preferred
Strong visual design, interaction design, and prototyping skills
Experience working within and extending established design systems
Comfortable operating in Agile product environments with cross-functional teams
Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders and partners
Experience conducting or supporting usability testing and research activities
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping/design workflows
Nice to Have
Experience with enterprise B2B platforms or operational tools
Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows and rapid prototyping tools
Exposure to analytics, experimentation, or data-informed product design
Experience collaborating closely with Engineering on implementation details and design QA
Additional Details
6-month contract engagement
Hybrid preferred (Atlanta area strongly preferred)
Potential flexibility around onsite expectations for strong candidates
Fast-moving interview process with portfolio walkthroughs and collaborative team discussions
The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $50.00 to $55.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
