Senior Commercial Operations Analyst

Position Summary:

  • Work Schedule: Monday Friday 1st shift hours

  • Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey corporate office

The Senior Commercial Analyst drives end-to-end commercial performance analytics across the sales funnel, delivering insights that improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, conversion performance, and executive decision-making for the Clinical Supply Services business unit .

The Role:

  • Lead end-to-end commercial performance reporting across the global sales funnel, providing visibility into pipeline progression, conversion trends, backlog pacing, and revenue impact.

  • Build and maintain forecasting models that support quarterly and annual revenue planning, using commercial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Partner closely with Finance, Business Development, and Commercial Operations leadership to translate complex data into executive-ready insights and actionable business recommendations.

  • Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and performance analytics that improve data visibility, reporting accuracy, and leadership decision-making across the global C linical Supply Services network .

  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial analytics processes, helping establish a more unified and reliable view of commercial performance across segments.

  • Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, or related fields .

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, revenue operations, FP&A, financial planning, or a similarly data-driven analytical role.

  • Strong experience analyzing sales funnels, pipeline performance, forecasting models, revenue trends, and conversion metrics.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, BI/reporting tools (Power BI or Tableau), and CRM-based data analysis.

  • Proven ability to synthesize data into clear business insights, communicate effectively with senior leadership, and influence decision-making through strong financial and commercial acumen.

The anticipated salary range for this position in New Jersey is $1 15k-$160k . The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited t to the type and length of experience within the job, t ype and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
