Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Software Design Engineer in Test 3 to join their team. As a Software Design Engineer in Test 3, you will be part of the Applied Sciences department supporting innovative device projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Redmond, WA

Pay Range: $40/hr W2 + Benefits ( NO Corp-To-Corp )

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for software validation across prototype devices, builds, and release environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify testing needs and improve automation frameworks.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed diagnostic reports to support quality assurance.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation and rapid feedback cycles.
• Document testing procedures, test cases, and coverage metrics to ensure comprehensive validation processes.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering, test automation, or quality engineering.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites.
• Experience with testing software across various builds, devices, and environments.
• Strong skills in analyzing test failures, diagnosing issues, and providing actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and automation frameworks; Android experience is a plus.
