Media & Advertising Sales Consultant

Midwest Communications, Inc in Lansing, MI is seeking a proven Media & Advertising Sales Consultant to drive revenue growth across one of the most dominant audio and digital media portfolios in Central Michigan. As our Media & Advertising Consultant, you will create advertising solutions that leverage radio, digital, and event marketing assets to help clients achieve their marketing goals. Radio stations: WJXQ-FM, WLMI-FM, WQTX-FM, WWDK-FM **This role has a base salary and monthly commission As our Media & Advertising Sales Consultant, you will Prospect, develop, and maintain a strong pipeline of new business through cold calling, networking, and community engagement Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and marketing needs Create and present customized advertising proposals across radio, digital, streaming, social, and promotional platforms Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue goals Collaborate with internal teams (programming, promotions, digital, and production) to execute successful campaigns Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and sales activity in CRM systems Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings Provide ongoing campaign performance updates and recommendations to clients Represent the station at community and networking events to enhance brand visibility We are asking you to Be a high-achieving sales leader with a track record of developing revenue Have excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently Have a valid Michigan Driver License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check We offer a great work environment along with a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package.
